Coronavirus: Union Minister V Muraleedharan, Under Self-Quarantine, Tests Negative For COVID-19
Muraleedharan had reportedly decided to stay away from public events and to be on home quarantine.
New Delhi: Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan, has tested negative for novel coronavirus infection, after staying isolated at his residence in New Delhi for few days. Muraleedharan had put himself under self quarantine after he attended a meeting in a medical institute in Trivandrum on March 14. A doctor there who returned from Spain, tested positive for COVID 19 on March 15.
Muraleedharan had reportedly decided to stay away from public events and to be on home quarantine. He has also been keeping away from all sorts of political meetings as well. He skipped the BJP parliamentary party meeting also.
The 61-year-old BJP leader had attended an event at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, who tested positive for COVID 19. The meeting was also attended by doctors who are now in home quarantine after a doctor, with travel history to Spain, had tested positive for COVID-19.

The doctor who had gone to Spain for a conference returned back on March 2 and he joined duty on March 8. After he developed symptoms he was put under home quarantine on March 12.
The toll from coronavirus in the country reached three on Tuesday after a 64-year-old Mumbai man died. The number of corona cases has been reached to 126 so far.
