Tejashwi to take on Nitish in 'Janadesh Apmaan Yatra'

Tejashwi Yadav in his 'Janadesh Apmaan Yatra' will stay focused on the insult to people's mandate of 2015, done by CM Nitish Kumar. In the rally Tejashwi will be directly interacting with people. While son leaves for his 'pad-yatra', Lalu Yadav looks forward to August 27 rally.

New Delhi: RJD is using all the methods to mend its tarnished reputation and to lift its position in the political game of Bihar. While RJD Chief Lalu Prasad's son Tejashwi Yadav begins 'Janadesh Apmaan Morcha' targetting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar among public, Lalu looks forward to the August 27 rally where he is planning to pitch all the opposition parties together. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav will kickstart a march called 'Janadesh Apman Yatra' on Wednesday , highlighting the insult to the people's mandate done by CM Nitish Kumar. The march shall begin from Motihari, East Champaran district headquarters, and will target Nitish Kumar for betraying the 'Mahagathbandhan' and joining hands with their rivals BJP. As reported, Tejashwi will begin the first phase of the 'pad-yatra' (foot march) by garlanding the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Motihari. This 'yatra' is expected to build momentum for RJD's August 27 rally in Patna. The first leg of the Apman Yatra will see Tejashwi visiting Madhopur, Sheohar, Sitamarhi and Muzaffarpur, addressing rallies and directly interacting with people. It is reported that Tejashwi and his brother Tej Pratap, left for Motihari on Tuesday. RJD supremo Lalu Yadav's wife and the mother of the two, Rabri Devi,  bade goodbye to the Yadav brothers by applying 'tilak' on their foreheads. Tejashwi Yadav will stay focused on the theme 'betrayal of people's mandate' and will take on CM Nitish Kumar for wrongly accusing the Yadav family. According to Tejashwi, he will be telling people how CM Nitish Kumar who used to talk of Sangh-Mukt Bharat, today sits in the lap of BJP-RSS. Tejashwi has reportedly accused Nitish Kumar of using him as a pawn in his master-plan of joining BJP. Tejashwi will be accompanied by a team of young leaders and members of Tej Pratap's 'Dharmnirpeksh Sevak Sangh'. RJD Supremo Lalu Yadav on Tuesday told the reporters "Nitish Kumar has committed political suicide by joining hands with the BJP." He refuted all the charges of having terms with sand-mafia, imputed by Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi and said "let them spin stories against us. We would expose them in August 27 rally at Patna." Referring to the alleged stalking of a woman in Haryana by the son of the BJP state president, Prasad said, "Jungle Raj is prevailing across the country under the BJP." RJD will be holding a rally of opposition parties in Patna on August 27, which Lalu Yadav is really looking forward to with the aim of "exposing" NDA and JDU in Bihar. (with inputs from PTI)
