Sikh Youth Attacks Two With Kirpan In Delhi's Kamala Nagar Market, One Dies

In a deadly attack by a Sikh youth named Gurpreet, a man named Ganga Mahto was killed in the Kamla Nagar market in New Delhi.

A Sikh youth, named Gurpreet Singh, attacked two persons with a Kirpan at the Kamla Nagar Market area in New Delhi on Tuesday. One of the two persons that were attacked died on the spot, while the other faced serious injuries.

Ganga Mahto is the person who died, while Siyaram faces serious injuries. 

According to the police, the accused Gurpreet Singh works in the finance sector. On Tuesday evening, Gurpreet had reached the Kamla Nagar Market area to acquire money from a person named Siyaram. There was a fight between the two. In this quarrel, Gurpreet attacked Siyaram with a kirpan. During this altercation, Siyaram's companion Ganga Mahto came to save him and Gurpreet attacked him with a kirpan as well.

In this attack, Ganga Mahto died on the spot, while Siyaram was seriously injured. Gurpreet was caught and beaten by the public present on the spot, at the Kamla Nagar Market. Gurpreet was injured in the public beating and has been admitted to a hospital. The police have arrested Gurpreet by registering a case of murder against him.
