Services on Delhi Metro's Magenta Line disrupted after massive fire near Kalindi Kunj Metro

Fire broke out in a furniture market near Kalindi Kunj metro station, early morning today.

New Delhi: A massive fire broke out on early Friday at a furniture market near Kalindi Kunj Metro station in Delhi due to which Delhi Metro services were affected. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said that short loops were being run between Janak Puri West and Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh and there was no service between Kalindi Kunj and Botanical Garden temporarily. Delhi Fire Services said that there were no reports of casualties, Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fire Services said, "The fire was reported at 5.55 a.m., and 17 fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot." The firefighters are trying to contain the blaze. The fire has also affected Metro train services on the Magenta Line. Officials said no train would run between Shaheen Bagh and Botanical Garden stations till the fire is brought under control. ALSO WATCH: Celebrations across the nation on International Yoga Day
