Ram Vilas Paswan passed away at a hospital in New Delhi this evening. He had undergone heart surgery on Saturday.
PM Modi in a series of tweets, remembered the late Union minister for his hard work and determination. "As a young leader, he resisted tyranny and the assault on our democracy during the Emergency.
