'Modi's Guarantee Begins After Hope From Others Ends': PM Flags Off 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' In 5 States

The yatra had already begun in other states, but its commencement in the five states was postponed due to the model code of conduct in effect due to the elections.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on Saturday in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram, the five states that just conducted assembly elections. The yatra had already begun in other states, but its commencement in the five states was postponed due to the model code of conduct in effect due to the elections. While virtually interacting with beneficiaries of 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra', PM Modi stated: "Our cities will play a crucial role in 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra'. For a long period of time, the development (in India) was restricted to some cities only. However, the focus has now shifted to development of tier 2 and tier 3 cities."

Modi's promise begins when everyone else's optimism runs out, the prime minister remarked. "With resolve of a developed India, 'Modi's guarantee vehicle' is reaching every corner of country," he stated.

After flagging off the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in 5 states, PM Modi stated: "Till now, people living in cities have saved more the Rs 25,000 crores because of the Jan Aushadhi Kendras. The no. of PM Jan Aushadhi Kendra will be increased to 25,000 soon."

Modi also met with individuals from several states who had benefited from various government programmes.

Interacting with one such recipient, he stated that the country's 'atmanirbhar' (self-sufficient) women are not only supporting themselves, but also becoming a blessing to others.

Modi stated that his government is working tirelessly for such dedicated and hardworking individuals.

"Our street vendors and hawkers had become hopeless. They had accepted that they had to live like this only, they thought nothing was going to change. No one was there to ask them anything. Our government connected them with the banking system. They are getting easier loans from banks under the PM SVANidhi scheme. More than 50 lakh such people have been benefitted from it. During this yatra, 1.25 lakh people have applied for the scheme. More than 75% of the beneficiaries of the PM SVANidhi scheme are Dalit, backwards and tribal. And in that too, 45% are women," he stated.

Earlier at the occasion, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri stated that because the people of the country have become 'Modiji's VIP,' everyone's task is being completed quickly.

Modi, who has called for India to become a developed nation by 2047, talked with Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra recipients via video conference.

During the event, the prime minister also launched the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram, the five states that just conducted assembly elections.

Thousands of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra participants from all around the country attended the ceremony. A huge number of Union Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and local politicians also participated in the programming.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being carried out across the country with the goal of reaching saturation of key government initiatives by ensuring that the benefits of these schemes reach all targeted recipients on schedule.
