PM Modi chairs high-level meeting on internal security

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today chaired a high-level meeting on internal security. Home Minister Rajnath Singh, NSA Ajit Doval, IB Chief, Raw chief, and other home ministry officials were present in the three-hour long meeting. In the meeting, the leaders and officials discussed security challenges emanating from terrorism. PM Modi directed the officials to bolster intelligence gathering and security apparatus across the country. PM also directed the officials to expedite smart policing programme and make the BSF strong on the borders.
