NSUI students burn effigy of Modi inside JNU, administration orders inquiry

New Delhi: The JNU administration, on Thursday, has ordered an inquiry on the matter in which an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was burnt by NSUI, on the occasion of Dussehra, projecting him as Ravana. The video of the same is getting viral on social media. Anil Meena who claimed to has uploaded the video said, "The video is from inside JNU and we all were present at the time of the incident." "In democracy everyone has the right to protest", he said and added the during the time of Congress, BJP also used to burnt many effigies. On the occasion, the students also shouted objectionable slogans.
