Rahul Gandhi's speech low on substance, high on entertainment: BJP’s Sambit Patra

NEW DELHI: Reacting to Rahul Gandhi’s fiery speech in the Lok Sabha where Gandhi hugged PM Modi, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said his speech was low on substance, high on entertainment.
Patra also said that the whole nation was waiting for an 'earthquake' to happen during Rahul's speech but nothing happened.
Participating in the debate on the 'No Confidence Motion' against the government, INC president Rahul Gandhi today lashed out BJP and asked PM to explain why a particular businessman was allegedly favoured.
In the Lok Sabha, Rahul claimed that the French prime minister has personally told me that there is no secret pact between the Indian and the French governments.
Gandhi, who was leading the debate from the Congress in the Parliament was been given 38 minutes to present their arguments in the parliament accused Defence Minister of speaking "untruth" over Rafale deal.
Targeting Gandhi for levelling "baseless allegations" against the government on the Rafale deal, the BJP has moved a privilege motion against him.
The ruling BJP, which enjoys a majority in the House, has been given 3 hours and 33 minutes in the debate during the Monsoon session, which is scheduled for seven hours. To defeat the no-confidence motion, the BJP would require to gain a mark of 268 votes. The NDA at present counts 312 members in the 535-member Lok Sabha, including 274 of the BJP.
