Differences In Shiv Sena & NCP Over Kangana Row; Sharad Pawar Meets Uddhav Thackeray Over BMC's Demolition Drive

Sharad Pawar expressed that the move by BMC has ended up giving wrong message to the public and "unnecessary publicity" to the actor.

In middle of the ugly tussle between Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and Maharashtra government over move to demolish actress's office in Mumbai, many have critised Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray for taking action against the 'Panga' actress out of 'revenge'. Thackeray led Shiv Sena has not even got the appreciation from Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar, whose party is part of the Maharashtra government. The BMC has its own rules and officers may have taken action as per what they felt was right," NCP leader said adding that the timing of the demolition drive had sent out a wrong message to the public. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday morning moved in to demolish alleged illegal construction of actress's Manikarnika Office in Mumbai's Pali Hills area.
