Jammu and Kashmir: Pakistani guerrilla from LeT killed in ambush in Baramulla
Srinagar: Pakistani guerrilla from the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit was killed in an ambush by the security forces at the outskirts of Baramulla's Sopore town on Tuesday.
An encounter broke out between security forces & terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir late last night. ANI Photo The encounter took place in the Haritar Tarzoo area in Baramulla district (J&K). Abu Umar Khatab was killed after the army and police laid an ambush in Haritar Tarzoo village on Monday night, a police officer said here. According to ANI, arms and ammunition have also been recovered during the ongoing encounter. On Thursday, a gunfight broke out between terrorists and Indian army soldiers in Shahgnd village of Bandipora district in Srinagar.
