J&K: Terrorist Hideout Busted In Srinagar, Two LeT Overground Workers Arrested

Srinagar police along with the assistance of the Pulwama Police and Army's 50 RR  arrested two OGWs from South Kashmir's Pulwama district.

New Delhi: The Jammu and Kashmir Police along with security forces on Tuesday have arrested two overground workers (OGWs) associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and busted a terrorist hideout in Kashmir, reported ANI news agency. Srinagar police along with the assistance of the Pulwama Police and Army's 50 RR  arrested two OGWs from South Kashmir's Pulwama district.

"The interrogation of the two overground workers revealed terrorist Riyaz Sathrgund (LeT commander) had asked them to build a hideout in the Rajourikadal area of Nowhatta, Srinagar," the police was quoted ANI on its official Twitter handle.

Based on the information received after interrogation, a Cordon And Search Operation (CASO) was launched along with the CRPF and the terrorist hideout was busted.

"However it was empty and the owner of the house is being questioned. Further investigation is going on," the police said.
