This has caused a stir in Delhi. Now, this is my bonus, last hunger strike - I will do it if nothing is done," said Anna Hazare who lead the prominent 'India Against Corruption' movement. Anna Hazare wrote a letter to the central government last week appealing to them to accept the demand of the farmers and if that does not happen, he will begin a mass movement for the same. After this ultimatum, the central government swung into action and sent BJP Rajya Sabha MP Bhagwat Karad and former Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Haribhau Bagde to his village Ralegan Siddhi to convince Anna. During the conversation with BJP leaders, Anna talked to them about the problems faced by farmers and their demands. He once again requested the Central Government to take a decision in this matter soon. BJP leaders assured the 83-year-old activist that they will take these concerns to the government to find a resolution for them. They have sought a few days' time for it. Thousands of farmers have been agitating at bordering areas of Delhi against the three agrarian laws of the central government. They are seeking a repeal of all three laws.
