Everyone happy with demonetisation: PM's brother Prahlad Modi

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's younger brother Prahlad Modi today backed the Centre's move of scrapping Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes, saying everyone is happy with demonetisation. His remark came during a visit to the Bhagyalakshmi temple abutting the historic Charminar here, where he had come to offer prayers. "After seeing the faces of the Hyderabadi people... it does not seem that they are facing any problem of currency notes due to demonetisation. Everyone is happy," he told reporters when asked about demonetisation. Prahlad, who visited some historic tourist spots in the city, said, "I have come here for 'darshan' of Bhagyalakshmi 'mata' and to seek blessing of the goddess. I prayed for well being of everyone in the country."
