UP: Four Children Among Eight Dead Following Gas Cylinder Explosion In Gonda
SP Santosh Mishra said that the blast in the gas cylinder took place during cooking in the house.
Gonda: Two adjoining houses collapsed after gas cylinder exploded killing at least 8 people. The incident took place on Tuesday night in Wazirganj police circle.
The deceased include two women, two men and four children.

According to an IANS report, 15 persons were buried under the debris, eight who were rescused were rushed to the hospital where they have been admitted. Eight bodies were taken out from the debris. Superintendent of Police (SP) Santosh Mishra said that the blast in the gas cylinder took place during cooking in Nurul Hasan's house.
The impact of the explosion was so intense that even the adjoining house was damaged.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post mortem and further investigations are underway. A forensic team has also been called in to collect samples.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the incident and directed the officials to ensure proper treatment of the injured persons.
