New Delhi: A startling CCTV footage has surfaced in Delhi, showing a car driver dragging a traffic cop on the bonnet of his car in a blatant disregard for law and law-keepers.
As per the information received, the traffic policeman Constable Mahipal Singh, was dragged on the bonnet of a car for nearly 400 metres before he fell off the vehicle on the busy street of the national capital. The cop was trying to stop the car for a traffic rule violation, but the driver did not stop instead shoveled up the policeman and sped off with him stuck on the bonnet for about half a kilometer. The incident, which took place on Monday, was reported in south Delhi's Dhaula Kuan area.
He fell off the car on a busy street of Dhaula Kuan as other vehicles drove past him. The car driver was held later In the video it can be seen that he tried to stop the car for using a fancy number-plate, but he jumps on to the car the minute the driver tries to flee. He clings on to the vehicle as the driver sways the vehicle in a zig zag pattern on the busy road near cantonment and later fell off after being carried for some time.
