New Delhi: India is under 21-day lockdown and people in different parts of the country are working from home and therefore Ministry of Home Affairs today released "Cyber Security Tips" through Cyber Dost Twitter handle. It also elaborated on the aids against the financial crimes committed online. In the wake of more WFH amid this nationwide lockdown and widespread use of the internet and social media, Union Home Ministry recommends people to follow Cyber Dost twitter handle & National Cyber Crime Porting Portal - cybercrime.gov.in for info on cyber-crime and it also encourages to report illegal cases. These days a considerable amount of personal information is stored online like from banking services to civic amenities all are now present online. When everything turned digital there was also a surge in the cyber-crime which brought in point the question of data security in the digital world. The Indian government and multiple law enforcement agencies have taken an edge in controlling growing cyber crime. The government ensured and directed the web administrators to keep user data safe. The Cyber Dost is one such initiative floated by the Ministry of Home Affairs which advises people to keep their information secure when handling online.
