Bihar Election Results 2020: Journalists' Exit Poll Predicts Tejashwi Outrunning Nitish

Bihar Election Results 2020: As per the Journalists' Exit Poll, Tejashwi-led Grand Alliance is bagging somewhere around 124 seats, in which Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) may get around 84 seats, while the Congress may win up to 27 seats.

After ABP-CVoter exit poll suggested an edge for Rashtriya Janata Dal, an exit poll prediction by 118 reporters who worked on the ground in Bihar has also indicated that Tejashwi Yadav-led UPA will cross the magic number and Nitish Kumar led NDA will fall short of few seats in the Bihar Assembly Elections, 2020. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar is led by the three-time CM Nitish Kumar. As per the exit poll of journalists, the alliance may fall short of majority as it is expected to win around 109 seats. 122 is the magic figure. Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal-United (JDU) is getting around 44 seats which is much less than the current 71 seats in the state assembly, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to get around 58 seats. Meanwhile, NDA ally and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi led Hindustan Awam Morcha is expected to get around 4 seats which is significantly higher than 1 seat right now and the Viskassheel Insaan Party (VIP) may get 3 seats. On the other hand, Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) is expected to get around 4 seats. Meanwhile, Lok Sabha MP from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owasi led All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) is expected to bag around 3 seats, and can be a major attraction in the election results as per the Journalists’ Exit Poll. The post-polls predictions by the journalists also show that the state may get 2 independent legislators while Mayawati led Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is expected to open up an account in the Bihar State Assembly as the party is expected to bag a seat. Bihar witnessed state assembly elections amid the coronavirus pandemic in the country. In the three-phase elections, as many as 3755 candidates from different parties contested. The results are due on November 10.
