Aaditya Thackeray Should Undergo Narco Test: Sushant Rajput's Father On SIT Probe Into Disha Salian Case
Sushant Singh Rajput's father K.K. Singh alleged that the investigation into the death of Disha Salian was not done properly because the previous MVA government's own people were involved in the case.
New Delhi: Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's father K.K. Singh on Friday supported the Maharashtra government's decision of constituting a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the Disha Salian death case.
"This should have happened long ago but it was a different government so it was not done. This decision is right. In the previous government, the investigation was not done properly because their people were involved in the case," Sushant Singh Rajput's father alleged, as per news agency ANI.
"As I saw in the news, AadityaThackeray's name was appearing in it. The truth will be known in the SIT investigation. Aditya Thackeray should have a narco test," he added.

The statement comes as Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Nitesh Rane on Thursday sought a "narco test" on Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and former state minister Aaditya Thackeray in connection with the deaths of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian based on the allegations levelled by Lok Sabha MP Rahul Shewale of the Eknath Shinde faction.
According to news agency PTI, he questioned why the former state minister's name cropped up every time the deaths of Sushant Rajput and the latter's former manager Disha Salian were discussed.
A "narco test" (narcoanalysis test) must be carried out on Aaditya Thackeray so that the truth about their deaths comes out, Rane told the media outside the Vidhan Bhavan complex, as per PTI.
Disha Salian (28) allegedly died by suicide in the Malad area of Mumbai on June 8, 2020. Rajput, 34, was found hanging at his apartment in Mumbai's Bandra area on June 14, 2020.
Earlier this week, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said in the state assembly that an SIT will be formed to conduct a probe into the death of Disha Salian.
Aaditya Thackeray said the present government was playing dirty politics which has never happened in the House in the past.
"Never before politics stooped to such low levels. All this is being done to divert the attention from the NIT scam involving the chief minister," he charged.
