Xiaomi's Redmi 9 Prime: Xiaomi on Tuesday launched its Redmi 9 Prime smartphone in India which comes with four rear cameras, and MediaTek’s Helio G80 chipset. An all-round budget smartphone powered by high performance Helio G80 processor and a massive 5020mAh battery, is available in 4 all rounded colours- Mint green, space blue, matt black and sunrise flare. Redmi 9 Prime price in India has been set at Rs 9,999 for the 64GB storage variant. It also comes with 128GB storage which carries a price tag of ₹11,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase in the country on August 6 at 10AM as a part of an early access sale via Amazon. It will be put on sale beginning August 17 via mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Home stores, and Mi Studios. Redmi 9 Prime Camera Features: 13MP AI powered primary camera delivers great day-light and low-light images allowing you to be social media ready. With an ultra-wide 118˚ degree field-of-view, the users can capture more in every frame. The model comes with 5MP macro lens that allows the user to shoot macro videos at 1080P. At the time when millennial are crazy after taking selfies, the Redmi 9 Prime has come up 8MP AI front camera that lets the users capture selfie and even customize the daily look. Redmi 9 Prime Display & Design: Redmi 9 Prime comes with the large 16.58cms (6.53) Full-HD+ display, 2340x1080 FHD+ resolution, 400nit (typ) brightness and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Redmi 9 Prime has added a concentric design that helps in additional grip and ring at the back that encapsulates the quad camera setup the fingerprint sensor beautifully. The model features P2i nano-coating to protect against everyday splashes and spills. The phone is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 which protects the display of the phone against accidental drops and scratches. Redmi 9 Prime Storage, RAM & Battery: Redmi 9 Prime packs a 5,020mAh battery with support for up to 18W fast charging. The phone’s claimed to last for two days on a single charge. The smartphone has two storage variants -- 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB -- with power efficient LPDDR4X RAM and 512 GB expandability. However, the actual available memory may vary due to various factors.
