BJP Blames Delhi Govt For Oxygen Crisis, Accuses AAP MLAs Of Black-Marketing COVID Medicines

Bharatiya Janata Party has held the Delhi govt responsible for oxygen crisis in the national capital. Delhi BJP Chief Adesh Gupta accussed Aam Aadmi Party MLAs of hoarding anti-Covid medicines.

At the time when Delhi is struggling with the acute shortage of oxygen, vaccines and Covid-19 dugs, the Bharatiya Janata Party has held the Delhi govt responsible for oxygen crisis in the national capital. 

Addressing a press conference on Sunday evening, Delhi BJP Chief Adesh Gupta said, "Earlier on March 6, Central govt warned Delhi govt about the arrangements of procurement of oxygen but they didn't do anything. But when they got pressure from hospitals, they (Delhi govt) on April 18 started looking for vendors for cryogenic oxygen tanker.”

Training guns at the Arvind Kejriwal-led state government, Delhi BJP chief accussed Aam Aadmi Party MLAs of hoarding anti-Covid medicines. "At a time when people of Delhi are gasping for breath & BJP, RSS & other organisations are helping people, Delhi Govt's ministers & MLAs are involved in black-marketing & hoarding of medicines & oxygen. Delhi Govt & AAP are responsible for this crisis," Adesh Gupta said, as quoted by ANI. 

Meanwhile, the national capital lodged 13,336 new cases of Coronavirus and 273 deaths in the last 24 hours. With this, the the number of total cases stands at 
13,23,567 while the death toll has been pushed to 19,344. 

With 14,738 patients discharged yesterday, the total recoveries in the national capital are now 12,17,991 while there are 86,232 active cases in the national capital. The positivity rate stood at 231.67 per cent.
