Madhuri Dixit Makes Maharashtrian Favourite Dish With Husband Dr Nene. Watch Video

As you travel across each state, the vast Indian cuisine becomes increasingly diverse. The 'dal bati and churma' in Rajasthan will make you drool. Meanwhile, in Tamil Nadu, you simply cannot miss the delectable 'idli-sambhar'. The incredible variety of dishes available in Maharashtrian cuisine will astound you. Of course, the most popular dish is 'pav bhaji', but 'missal pav' has a similar fan base and taste. Actor Madhuri Dixit recently shared a video of herself making the Maharashtrian favourite with none other than her husband, Dr Shriram Nene.

Madhuri Dixit has a YouTube vlog with a large fan base of 1.27 million subscribers. On her channel, she not only shares snippets from her day, but also shares delicious Maharashtrian food recipes. The video of her making missal pav was posted on her YouTube channel on June 3 and has already received over 131k views.

Madhuri Dixit and her husband Dr Nene are both huge fans of Indian cuisine and in this video, they prepare the delicious dish missal pav in their own kitchen. Missal pav is a tangy tomato-based curry with sprouts as the main ingredient for the uninitiated. It's usually served with a side of pav buns.

The duo first prepared the missal pav masala paste with garlic, coconut, tomato, onion, ginger, and garlic in the 8-minute 26-second video. The paste was then spiced with jeera, curry leaves, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, and garam masala. The paste was allowed to cool before being ground until smooth. Madhuri Dixit then demonstrated how she prepared the sprouts for missal pav and added them to the pan to boil. The dish was finished with a dash of jaggery! Madhuri Dixit garnished the missal pav with crunchy farsan, finely chopped onion, coriander leaves, and lemon juice.

Fans of Madhuri Dixit couldn't help but react to this delectable recipe and how it was prepared.
