Eid Mubarak 2022: Send These Warm Wishes To Your Loved Ones On This Eid Al Fitr

Eid Mubarak 2022: Depending on the sighting of crescent moon, Eid-al-Fitr will be celebrated on either May 2 or May 3 in India.

Eid Mubarak 2022: As the Islamic holy month of Ramzan nears completion, Muslims across the country and around the world are gearing up for the festival of Eid-Al-Fitr also known as 'Meethi Eid' or generally called Eid. The festival is celebrated on the first day of month of Shawwal, after month long dawn-to-dusk fasting in Ramzan where Msulim offer special prayers called 'Taraweeh' and do charity. 

Here are some warm wishes that you can send to your family, friends and loved ones on Eid-al-Fitr to greet with. 

"Here's wishing you and your family peace, harmony, happiness, good health and prosperity on the auspicious occasion of Eid. Eid Mubarak to you and everyone at home."

The festival is known as Eid-al-Fitr as Muslims have to give a certian amount of sum or food grains to the needy as donation which is called 'fitra' and should be given before the Eid prayers. Sweet savoury populary known as 'sewayin' mark the festivity. Elders give gifts to their younger ones and children which is called as 'Eidi'. The day is followed by feasts along with family members, friends, and acquaintnaces.

Eid-al-Fitr 2022 date will depend on the sighting of the crescent moon, however Central Governmnet's holiday calender marks May 3 as the holiday. Although, if the cresecent moon is sighted on May 1, then Eid-al-Fitr 2022 will be celebrated on May 2 otherwise on May 3.
