Ideas of India 2024: Chandra Prakash Agrawal, Chairman and MD, Gallant Group of Industries, shared his take on India's infra giants at ABP Network's third edition of 'Ideas of India Summit'

Mumbai: The government should focus on encouraging honest taxpayers, said Chandra Prakash Agrawal, Chairman and MD, Gallant Group of Industries, while speaking on 'India’s Infra Giants: Builders of Viksit Bharat' at ABP Network's third edition of 'Ideas of India Summit' on Friday in Mumbai. In addition, he said that the government should make the whole tax filing process even smoother for the users.

“The government should improve the process of addressing the problems of honest taxpayers; if this process does not improve, this will hamper the growth of people filing their taxes honestly. In addition, this will direct people’s mindset towards negativity. So, the government should award the honest taxpayers and punish the defaulters," he said.

Speaking on entrepreneurship, he stated, “There is no doubt that everyone can do business but to achieve success, dedication is imperative. How much you dedicate yourself in that work and how much you enjoy that work is very important. If you are not able to enjoy your work, you will not be able to give your 100 per cent. And if you are not giving your 100 per cent, your will not be able to ensure success in that work.”

Drawing from four decades of diverse expertise, Agrawal demonstrates excellence across multiple domains such as marketing, finance, costing, conceptualisation, and administration. Over his tenure, he has made significant contributions to the Group's expansion, managing the setup, execution, and functioning of its units with a focus on upholding top-tier quality standards. Under his leadership, the Company has experienced remarkable growth in turnover.
