New Delhi: A research has revealed that diabetes and heart disease are the most common causes of early death. Today's diet is such that even the young generation is also suffering from heart diseases. The main reason behind these is outdoor food, especially packaged food, such as your favourite biscuits, snacks, chips, cookies, cakes, etc.
In addition, people who love street food are also at a higher risk of these diseases. Actually, the oil quantity is much in the outside food. And if this is palm oil, which is mostly in cases, gets double health loss.
Palm oil is cheaper –
Palm oil is often used in outdoor food, such as street food or packaged food, because it is cheaper and gives profits to companies and sellers. India has the highest usage –
A report has revealed that India has the highest palm oil imports. Even if the price has increased as compared to earlier, it is cheaper than the rest of the oils. To identify this, check the list of ingredients on the food packet in the name of palm oil, palmolein oil or palmitic acid.
Why It harms –
Palm oil damages the heart because it has 50 percent more triglycerides than the rest of the oils, which increase the risk of stroke. Its regular use makes the arteries thicker and harder, causing heart diseases.
