Nextwave Multimedia, the Chennai-based developer of World Cricket Championship 3, teamed up with MPL sports to offer licensed digital avatars of three Team India jerseys — the Training jersey, the Retro jersey, and the official ‘Billion Cheers Jersey.’ For those unaware, the Billion Cheers Jersey first debuted at the 2021 Twenty20 World Cup. Its design is marked by a unique soundwave pattern, which has been created from fans’ chants and cheers from past matches of India. It is also the current official T20 and ODI jersey of Team India.
“With 240 million-plus users, this seems like a good opportunity to add value to our fans and the cricket community out there,” said P.R. Rajendran, the CEO and Co-Founder of Nextwave Multimedia.
World Cricket Championship 3 has also won the Indian Game Developers Conference’s Studio Game of the Year award and Google Best of 2020 - User's Choice Award. It is available to download via both Google Play and Apple’s App Store.
