In a tournament where YouTube stardom met esports grit, India’s top gaming creator Techno Gamerz led his team, Delhi AI Legends, to a commanding victory at the #PlayGalaxy Cup Z Fold Edition, turning an intense BGMI face-off into a celebration of India’s rapidly rising gaming universe.
Rs 2.4 Lakh Prize And A Win That Goes Beyond Points
After four action-packed Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) matches filled with zone-survival drama and calculated aggression, the Delhi AI Legends emerged champions. The team, led by Ujjwal Chaurasia aka Techno Gamerz, not only lifted the trophy but also bagged Rs 2.4 lakh in prize money.
Held on 11 July, the #PlayGalaxy Cup brought together 48 of the biggest names in Indian gaming. Each of the 12 teams was led by a "Hero Gamer", from Mythpat and Desi Gamers to SlayyPoint, GamerFleet and more—creating a tournament that was equal parts strategy, skill, and spectacle.
A Creator-Driven Esports Showcase With National Reach
Hosted by Samsung and managed by Opraahfx, the tournament reached over 100 million viewers and clocked more than 5 million engagements across platforms, making it one of the largest creator-led esports events in the country.
Aditya Babbar, Vice President and Head of Product Marketing at Samsung India, said the tournament was designed to push boundaries. “We wanted to create a platform where India’s top gamers could showcase their skills while celebrating innovation in mobile gaming. This tournament reflected the spirit and thriving community of esports gaming.”
He further added, “Here, creators and players alike get a new dimension of immersion, multitasking, and more control, transforming every match into a cinematic, high-performance experience”.
Techno Gamerz On What This Win Means

Leading a team and competing alongside such incredible gamers was next level”, said Techno Gamerz, who commands over 46 million YouTube subscribers and remains one of the most recognisable faces in India’s online entertainment scene. “Competing with and against such iconic creators was next level.”

India saw 8.45 billion mobile game downloads in FY 2024–25 alone, according to Sensor Tower’s India Mobile Gaming Insights Report. The #PlayGalaxy Cup felt like a mirror of that momentum, with fans, creators and brands coming together to elevate the country’s presence in global gaming.
