Fake News Alert: Contrary to the claims made in the viral post, ABP Live and CVoter have not issued any such projections or data regarding the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections 2024.
A social media post bearing the logo of ABP Live and its English website name is going viral on social media platforms, with the claim that ABP-CVoter has projected a range of seats for the Andhra Pradesh assembly which is due for polls in 2024. The post is fake, and ABP Network or any of its subsidiaries have not released any such data regarding Andhra Pradesh Assembly Election 2024. ABP Network does not bear any responsibility for the data being shared. The creative being widely circulated on WhatsApp and other platforms is completely fabricated and false.
Meanwhile, other social media posts attributed to ABP-CVoter are also being circulated regarding the preferred Prime Minister candidate choice, and they are also fake. ABP Network with CVoter did not release any such data or any Opinion Poll for southern states on February 29, 2024, as is being claimed.
To curb misinformation, ABP Network urges social media users to exercise caution and refrain from further propagating false information. It is essential to remain vigilant and discerning amidst the proliferation of deceptive content online.

During the recently held 'Ideas of India' summit, prominent pollsters offered insights into the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha election, focusing on the positioning of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the opposition's I.N.D.I.A. bloc.
Pradeep Gupta, Chairman & MD of Axis My India Ltd., highlighted uncertainties surrounding the NDA's fortunes in Southern states, particularly Tamil Nadu, where the alliance faces challenges following the AIADMK's decision to sever ties. Gupta noted the BJP's struggles in Kerala and emphasised the dominance of regional parties like TDP and YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh, suggesting that alliances would be necessary for the BJP to make headway in the region. He also pointed out the BJP's need to defend its position in Karnataka against the Congress government.
Yashwant Deshmukh, Founder-Director of CVoter, highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambitious targets of securing 400+ seats for the NDA and 370+ seats for the BJP in the upcoming election. Deshmukh emphasised a shift in the electoral landscape since 2004, with a notable swing in votes. He outlined the BJP's strong performance in direct faceoffs with the Congress and regional parties, stressing the significance of winning contests against regional opponents to achieve their electoral targets.
Regarding the BJP-TMC showdown in West Bengal, the CVoter founder director anticipated a fiercely contested battle, labelling it the "mother of all battles" in the Lok Sabha polls.
