Mumbai: Actress-politician Jaya Bachchan is all set to make her digital debut with the upcoming web series ‘Sadabahar’. According to reports, the veteran actress will be witnessed portraying a powerful role in the show. After husband Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya is also all set to make her powerful debut in the digital world with Endemol Shine India's upcoming project – ‘Sadabahar’.

Based on media reports, Jaya Bachchan started shooting for this upcoming web series earlier this year in February. The ‘Abhimaan’ actress had earlier fixed her shooting schedule for this show but it got delayed after the Maharashtra government imposed lockdown due to the outbreak of the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.

Now, with the decrease in the number of positive cases and with ease of restrictions, the government has allowed film and other shoots to take place by following all the necessary precautions. The team of ‘Sadabahar’ has also reportedly started their shoot and have already completed shooting two sequences this week - one at Sony Mony and another at Apna Bazaar in Andheri, Mumbai.

The shooting of this upcoming web series has been done in a strict bio-bubble with 50 members in the unit. The shooting of ‘Sadabahar’ is being done in real locations following all the precautionary measures.

This upcoming web series will mark Jaya Bachchan’s comeback to the screen after almost 5 years. She was last seen in a cameo role in Arjun and Kareena Kapoor’s movie ‘Ki & Ka’.
