'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' completes 2700 episodes: Mohsin Khan, Shivangi Joshi & others celebrate the joyous occasion (SEE PICS)

Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, which is one of the longest running shows on Indian television, has added another milestone in its nine year long successful journey. The Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan starrer has completed 2700 episodes on Thursday. The cast and crew of the popular daily soap celebrated the joyous occasion by performing a havan on the sets of the show on Friday (July 27). The actors involved with the show cut a cake with the number 2700 on it. At a time when shows go off air within six months, YRKKH has managed to win millions of hearts despite completing 2700 episodes. Fans simply love the lead couple Karthik and Naira and call them as ‘KaiRa’. Producer Rajan shared a picture from the cake cutting ceremony on Instagram. ‘’I would like to thank the entire team for the great efforts that they have been putting in since so many years. It is because of them that the show is a success. Along with this, I would also like to thank the avid viewers of the show. You make us what we are today,'' Shahi told Tellychakkar. Shivangi Joshi, who plays the role of Naira, also shared pictures on her Instagram story. Parul Chauhan aka Swarna Goenka from YRKKH also pictures on her Instagram handle.
