‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ Shoot Halts After Reporting COVID-19 Cases On Set

‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ has halted their shoot as few positive COVID-19 cases have been reported on the sets. Producer Jamnadas Majethia took to his Twitter account and announced the halt of the shoot with a video.

New Delhi: With the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country, many people from the sets of movies and Television shows have contracted the virus. Many celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt and others have tested positive for coronavirus. Recently, Dharmesh, who is the judge of the reality show ‘Dance Deewane 3’ also tested positive for COVID-19 along with 18 crew members and 3 contestants.

Now, according to the latest update, another show ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ has halted their shoot as few positive COVID-19 cases have been reported on the sets. Producer Jamnadas Majethia took to his Twitter account and announced the halt of the shoot with a video.

While sharing the news, the producer revealed that the team will be back with new episodes soon. The tweet read, “We found Few positive cases on our set so we took a break at the shoot keeping their health and well-being on priority. We will be soon back with fresh episodes. Wish you all safety and good health. @sabtv #waglekiduniya”

Reportedly, 8 members from the sets of the sitcom ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ have tested COVID-19 positive.

‘Wagle Ki Duniya’, which airs on SAB TV stars Sumeet Raghavn, Pariva Pranati, Aanjjan Srivastav and Bharati Achrekar in the lead roles. It tells the story of three generations of a middle-class family overcoming their everyday struggles together.
