Vrushika Mehta lends her Gujarati touch to 'Ishqbaaaz'

Mumbai:  Actress Vrushika Mehta, who will be seen playing a con artist in "Ishqbaaaz", writes some of her own lines for the show and finds it very exciting. Vrushika will be seen as Ishana - the love interest of Kunal Jaisingh's character in the Star Plus show. "I am a Gujarati in real life and Ishana too is a Gujarati in the show. Having said this, there are many lines and dialogues that she says in Gujarati while talking to her near and dear ones which comes really naturally to me, all in the flow," Vrushika said in a statement. She added: "The best thing is that I am getting to write my own lines for this show and it is very exciting. On the sets, there is no one who is well-versed with the language and I get my lines in Hindi which I translate and enact my scene. It is a lot of fun." Vrushika is also teaching the cast of the show her native language. "I am really enjoying speaking my mother tongue and teaching my co-stars basic Gujarati words," Vrushika said. "Ishqbaaaz" tells the story of three brothers - Shivaaay (Nakuul Mehta), Omkara (Kunal Jaisingh) and Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo).
