Sufiyana Pyaar Mera actress Helly Shah faints on the sets of her TV show

Popular TV actress Helly Shah fainted on the sets of her TV show Sufiyana Pyaar Mera due to sheer exhaustion.

New Delhi: Popular TV actress Helly Shah is winning the hearts of the viewers with her performance in Star Bharat’s ‘Sufiyana Pyaar Mera’. The beautiful actress is playing the double roles of Saltanat and Kaynaat in the romantic show. TV actors often shoot for 12-15 hours a day to meet the telecast deadlines and this often takes a toll on their death. Similar thing happened with Helly as the actress fainted on the sets of the show three days back. Shooting cut-to-cut affected her health and the actress collapsed on the sets due to sheer exhaustion. A report in a leading daily suggested that the 23-year-old actress was shooting for 15-16 hours a day and she couldn’t take a weekly off because of telecast issues. Talking about the same, the ‘Devanshi’ actress told the daily that working for 15 hours a day impacted her health. “I was diagnosed with viral infection; working for 15 hours every day has taken a toll on my health. Though it is a great opportunity to play a double role, I was suffering from exhaustion. I could not even afford to take a day off since I was required for almost every scene. Finally, my body gave up. The production house was kind enough to let me rest it out. Since we don’t have a bank of episodes, we feel guilty to even ask for a weekly off. I hope that the issue is resolved soon, and all of us get time to unwind from our gruelling schedules,” Helly told Bombay Times.

Speculations were rife that Helly had asked the production to chop off one of her roles in the show. However, the actress has refuted the rumours. “No, those are just rumours. I am okay playing both the roles,” Helly told BT. (Source- Twitter) On the professional front, Helly Shah made her TV debut as a child artist in ‘Zindagi Ka Har Rang...Gulaal’. She shot to fame after playing the role of Swara in Colors TV’s ‘Swaragini’ opposite Varun Kapoor. She is currently played the lead role in ‘Sufiyana Pyaar Mera’ opposite Rajveer Singh.
