New Delhi: TV heartthrob Pearl V Puri won several hearts with his performance as Mahir in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Naagin 3’. The show, which aired on Colors channel, had set the TRP charts on fire. Pearl’s sizzling chemistry with Surbhi Jyoti helped the supernatural saga in grabbing several eyeballs. Ardent fans of the show fondly called them ‘PearBhi’. Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that Pearl will soon make his Bollywood debut. Yes, you read that right. According to a report in a leading daily, the talented actor is reading scripts amid the lockdown and if things fall in place, we might see him on the silver screen. Pearl didn’t divulge much detail about his big splash in Bollywood. The handsome actor said that he would announce if things work out. “Well, it’s too early for me to comment on anything at the moment. However, if something works out, I would definitely be more than happy to announce it. So let’s hope for the best,” the ‘Meri Sasu Maa’ actor told Times Of India.
On the professional front, Pearl V Puri was last seen in Colors TV’s ‘Bepanah Pyaarr’ opposite Ishita Dutta. The romantic drama went off air in February 2020. Despite a star-studded cast and different storyline, the show couldn't rake in big numbers. Although, the show managed to create buzz on social media, it failed to impress the viewers. He has featured in several shows including 'Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil' and 'Naagarjuna – Ek Yoddha.' Watch this space for more updates!
