FAKE NEWS: Popular TV Actor's PICS From Ekta Kapoor's HIT Show Shared As Kashmiri Journalist Beaten By Indian Army!

However the truth is that the pictures shared are from the Ekta Kapoor's popular show ‘Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi’, which aired on Colors TV five years back.

A set of pictures of a man that appears to be beaten by police officials inside a lock up, is being shared widely on social media. A Twitter user claimed that Indian Army arrested a Kashmiri journalist named Fahad Bhat from his home and then “tortured him.” He went on to say that the world is worried about Amazon forests but not the Kashmiri people. However the truth is that the pictures shared are from the Ekta Kapoor's popular show ‘Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi’, which aired on Colors TV five years back. And the man who is being beaten up by policemen inside a lock-up is the lead actor of the show Shakti Arora who played Ranveer on show. Many Twitter users lashed out at Khan for spreading fake news on social media and using TV actor's photos for fake propaganda.
