Ayesha Adlakha hopes to make a difference with her TV show

Mumbai:  Television actress Ayesha Adlakha, who plays a DJ in "MTV Girls On Top", is glad to be part of the TV show which celebrate girl power and attempts to shatter long-standing stereotypes. She says one can do away with gender-based stereotypes from the world of DJing when more and more women decide to join the profession. As per the track, Revati will face a hard time in a DJ hunt, where she is the only girl participating. I know I am just one girl, in one DJing competition, but I intend to make a mark and leave an impression for generations to look back at for inspiration," Ayesha said in a statement. A BBC Worldwide (BBCW) production, "MTV Girls On Top" highlight the journey of three girls who try to survive in Mumbai - dealing with job issues, love issues and also domestic issues.
