Mumbai: Self-proclaimed film critic Kamaal Rashid Khan’s legal tussle with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has become the talk of the town. The ‘Bharat’ actor has filed a defamation case against KRK for allegedly ‘endorsing and publishing defamatory allegations’ against him. Salman’s legal team issued a statement to reveal that his case has nothing to do with KRK’s review of ‘Radhe’. 

Singer Mika Singh came out in Salman’s support and slammed KRK for making fake allegations against the ‘Race 3’ star. Singh announced that he would make a song on the actor-turned-critic. According to a report in IANS, the ‘Aankh Marey’ singer said that he would give a ‘befitting reply’ with the song. 

Popular TV actress Akanksha Puri supported Mika Singh for ‘not being diplomatic’ and giving his ‘honest opinion’ on the KRK. She tweeted, “Thanks for not being diplomatic and giving your honest opinion unlike others on @kamaalrkhan about #Radhe @BeingSalmanKhan ! I agree with you that all critics have right to give reviews, good or bad but stop these personal attacks !! Can we even call them Critics ?” 

Mika Singh and KRK have been engaged in a war of words on Twitter ever since the former extended support to Salman and slammed KRK for making ‘personal attacks’. The singer, while talking to ABP News, addressed KRK as a 'donkey'. He levelled serious allegations against the 'Deshdrohi' actor and lashed out at him for also mocking actresses like Disha Patani.

Yesterday, the 'Bigg Boss 3' contestant claimed that over 20 tinsel town celebs called him to show their support. 

"More than 20 Bollywood people have called me to give me their support. They said, that they were not able to do that whatever I am doing. Because they were not ready to have direct conflict with him. They were scared to make him their enemy," he wrote on the micro-blogging site.

DSK Legal, the firm which represents Salman, said that KRK’s lawyer has stated in court that he would not share any derogatory post against the actor till the next date of hearing.

“The suit has been filed as the Defendant has been publishing and endorsing defamatory allegations, including that Mr Salman Khan is corrupt, that he and his brand Being Human are involved in fraud, manipulation and money laundering transactions, that he and Salman Khan Films are dacoits. The Defendant has been spreading malicious falsehoods and defaming Mr Salman Khan consistently over several months, clearly with a view to draw attention to himself,” the statement read.
