Six Accused Who Vandalised Actor Allu Arjun’s Hyderabad Residence Get Bail

A court in Hyderabad granted bail to six accused who vandalised Allu Arjun's residence in Jubilee Hills.

A court in Hyderabad granted bail to six accused who vandalised actor Allu Arjun's residence in the upscale Jubilee Hills area. The accused were produced in court on Monday morning and were granted bail, reporting ANI quoting advocate Ramdas.

On Sunday, some persons stormed into the residence of the actor holding placards in their hands and started sloganeering and one of them mounted the compound and started throwing tomatoes, said Deputy Commissioner of Police West Zone, Hyderabad.

Six people were taken into custody, who claimed to be part of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU-JAC).

The protestors demanded justice for the woman who died in the 'Pushpa-2' screening stampede.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy condemned the attack and directed the state Director General of Police and city police commissioner to take stringent action to maintain law and order.

According to a police release, when the security staff at the Pushpa 2 actor's residence objected and persuaded the protestors to get down from the wall, they manhandled the staff and damaged some flower pots.

The protestors who barged into Allu Arjun's residence demanded Rs 1 crore in financial assistance for the woman's family. A placard left by them read crores of rupees are made by making films, while those watching are dying.

Allu Arjun was not at home when the incident took place, reported PTI quoting police sources. Following the incident, security was beefed up at the actor's residence.

Taking to X, CM Reddy said any laxity in law and order will not be tolerated.

Reacting to the incident, Allu Arjun's father and veteran producer Allu Aravind said he would let the law take its own course.
