Follow Kar Lo Yaar Review: Uorfi Javed’s Show Should Be Watched For Its Unfiltered Honesty

Follow Kar Lo Yaar Review: The series chronicles Uorfi Javed’s journey from a regular girl in Lucknow, who didn’t even have a typical childhood, to becoming an internet sensation. Rating: 3.5 stars

Follow Kar Lo Yaar Review: Uorfi Javed’s life has been surrounded by endless controversies and questions: Does she just go to the airport for a photo-op? Does she pay paparazzi to follow her around? How many plastic surgeries has she undergone? And why does she aspire to have butts like Janhvi Kapoor and Nora Fatehi? In her new show, “Follow Kar Lo Yaar,” these questions and more are laid bare across eight episodes, each lasting 30 minutes. Much like “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” this series gives you a front-row seat into the life of someone who isn’t just famous but infamous. Uorfi boldly claims in the show that she is India’s Kim Kardashian, and while some may scoff at the comparison, the show’s honesty is what wins you over.

About Follow Kar Lo Yaar

The series chronicles Uorfi’s journey from a regular girl in Lucknow, who didn’t even have a typical childhood, to becoming an internet sensation. But has fame put an end to her struggles? Every question you’ve ever had about Uorfi Javed is answered in this series, offering a revealing look into the life of a controversial celebrity.

How is the series

Say what you will, but this series is authentic. In an industry where celebs often pretend to be surprised by paparazzi, Uorfi arrives first and waits for them, openly admits she wants butts like Janhvi and Nora, and even discusses her desire to enhance her breast size—topics that most stars keep hidden. The show doesn’t shy away from showing the less glamorous side of celebrity life either, like the time Uorfi had to queue up like an ordinary influencer for a photo op with a foreign star. It’s these raw and real moments that make the series stand out, offering a perspective on the celebrity world that you rarely get to see.

Some may argue that Uorfi was an odd choice for a show like this, but let’s be honest—who else in today’s Bollywood would be bold enough to be this candid? While the show does lean into drama at times, that’s just who Uorfi is—unapologetically bold. I witnessed this firsthand during an interview with her, and it’s that unfiltered honesty that makes the show worth watching.

This is the kind of show that should be made and watched, especially by those who’ve trolled Uorfi.
