New Delhi: Pulkit Samrat made his debut in Bollywood with the 2012 movie ‘Bittoo Boss’. Before making a career in the Hindi film industry, he was quite popular in the Television industry as he portrayed the role of ‘Lakshya’ in Ekta Kapoor’s serial ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. He gained recognition in Bollywood with the franchise movie ‘Fukrey’ and have starred in other films including ‘Sanam Re’, ‘Dolly Ki Doli’ and others. The couple has shared the screen together in movies like ‘Veerey Ki Wedding’ and ‘Pagalpanti’. The lovebirds will again be seen on-screen together in their upcoming film ‘Taish’ which is a revenge drama directed by Bejoy Nambiar. ‘Taish’ is scheduled to release on ZEE5 on October 29. On being questioned about how it felt to be reuniting with Kriti on-screen, Pulkit told Times Now, “It was great. More than dating each other, I am fond of her as a colleague as well. I was just speaking to somebody, who asked a similar, how was it working with her back-to-back, and don't you guys think that it is weird. If I get a chance to work with Varun Sharma back-to-back, I would love working with him, Richa Chadha, Anil sir (Kapoor), and John Abraham. I have immense respect for these guys and the same stands for her. I didn't know she was a part of Taish until she told me. Because we don't discuss films until we lock them. We have reached a certain stage in our careers where we don't want to influence each other. I am very fond and happy about the body of work she is doing. It is pretty amazing.” The fans of the much-in-love couple are eagerly waiting for their big day. When enquired about their marriage plans, the actor was quoted saying by the same publication, “No yaar because as of now we want to focus on our careers. Because how many times in life are we going to get a chance to work with Anees Bazmee, Bejoy Nambiar, Salman Khan Films, T Series, all back-to-back. If God is blessing us and aap par kaam hi kaam aa raha hai, uss kaam pe concentrate karo. That is what we are focusing on.” Pulkit added, “She grounds me, she completes me, and she has brought a lot of khairat in my life. I hope I have done something good and that's why I have found her.” The ‘Sanam Re’ actor was earlier married to his long-time girlfriend Shweta Rohira, who is also the rakhi-sister of Salman Khan.
