Sonu Sood Pledges To Support Over 400 Families Of Dead & Injured Migrants

Sonu Sood also escalates his support to the students stuck outside of India in the times of COVID-19

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been working tirelessly for the migrant workers since lockdown made its way into the country. The actor has become a saviour to the migrant workers. People have now started asking for his help on Twitter. Though the actor mostly plays the role of a villain in reel life, he has established himself as a ‘hero’ for the real world with his selfless contribution towards the society. The Dabbang actor recently announced that he will be providing financial assistance to the family of the 400 deceased migrant workers. He also approached the authorities of states including Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh to get relevant information of the migrant labours. The actor is leaving no stones unturned to help the migrant workers, he even arranged for a chartered flight last month to help over 300 migrant people fly back to their homes. Based on a report, Sonu Sood and his team have already sent back 21000 migrant labours till 8th June 2020. He revealed in a statement, “I've decided to help families of the deceased or injured migrants for them to have a secure future. I feel it's my personal responsibility to support them.” Just recently, Sonu Sood also took to Twitter and pledged to bring back the students who are stuck outside the country. One of the users was remembering Sushma Swaraj in his tweet. The tweet read, “आज आपकी याद आ रही है सुषमा जी ।। कास आप होती तो हम लोग अपने घर होते ।। #BringBackIndianStudents @PMOIndia @DrSJaishankar @SonuSood @ReallySwara @priyankagandhi @ravishndtv @RahulGandhi @airindiain”. To which the actor replied, “Can you share me the details. I will try my best. Rest almighty will guide us.” Other than being the real-life hero, speaking of the actor’s reel life, he will be next seen on-screen with his movie ‘Prithviraj’ which is slated to release by the end of this year.
