Humanitarian-Actor Sonu Sood Helps Ashraf Chaudhary Amid Coronavirus Pandemic; Man Had Fixed Cricket Bats Of Sachin, Kohli

A well-known figure in Mumbai's local cricketing circuit, Ashraf Chaudhary is known to have repaired cricket bats of several sport biggies such as Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and more.

Hailed as the 'messiah' of migrant labourers, actor Sonu Sood has continued to help hundreds of thousands of people during the COVID-19 induced lockdown. Keeping up with his humanitarian gesture, the actor has now extended a helping hand to a famous bat repairer Ashraf Chaudhary battle the financial crisis amid the Coronavirus pandemic. As per the media reports, he owns an ancestral shop near Mumbai’s Metro cinema, which is suffering drastic loss due to the long-going lockdown in state. As per several media reports, Chaudhary has now been hospitalised due to kidney problems and is in dire need of help to battle financial crisis. An Indian Express report quoted Prashant Jethmalani who is helping Ashraf get financial help, saying that "His situation is not good. There was some kidney stone-related problem, which has resurfaced again and there are other complications too. The lockdown means his business took a major hit as cricket has completely come to standstill in the city. He doesn’t have funds; whatever he has, it’s over." Meanwhile, a Twitter user recently shared Chaudhary's plight on the social media platform inviting Sonu Sood's attention in this regard. Taking cognizance of the development, the actor once again emerged as a true hero and vowed to help the man. Responding to the tweet, 'Dabangg' actor asked netizens to find out Ashraf’s address so that he can help him. "Find the address of this brother," Sood tweeted.
