Shahid Kapoor's 'Kabir Singh' UNSTOPPABLE at the box-office with Rs 22.71 crores on Day 2!

The film opened to packed theatres on June 21 and has impressed fans who thronged in large numbers to the cinema halls across India.

After a smashing opening at the box office, Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani starrer 'Kabir Singh' remained unstoppable at the ticket window even on second day(Saturday). Raking in Rs 20.21 crore on its first day at the box office, Kabir Singh has become Shahid's biggest opener till date. The film opened to packed theatres on June 21 and has impressed fans who thronged in large numbers to the cinema halls across India. Giving away the figures of day 2, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, Kabir Singh continues its heroic run on Day 2 and earned Rs 22.71 crores, despite #INDvAFG #CWC19 cricket match.

A remake of the Telugu hit film Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh stars Shahid Kapoor in a lead role is playing the role of an alcoholic surgeon who goes on a self-destructive mode after his girlfriend Preeti (Kiara Advani) marries someone else against her wishes. The film is directed by Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
