Salman Khan And Revathi To Reunite In Tiger 3 After 32 Years

Salman Khan and Revathy will reunite on-screen in the upcoming action-thriller Tiger 3.

New Delhi: 'Tiger 3', Salman Khan's upcoming movie, is already generating a lot of buzz among the audience. In the action-thriller that will be released in 2023, the actor and Revathy will reunite with his co-star. Both actors had shared the screen back in 1991 for the film 'Love'.

For the uninitiated, Revathy and Kajol recently made an appearance on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 16 to promote their upcoming movie 'Salaam Venky'. Khan mentioned that he would soon work with the actress once more for Tiger 3 while introducing Revathi, who was there to promote her directorial film.

Revathy would play the character of Shenoy, the RAW Chief and Salman's professional mentor, according to a report in the Times of India. The actor would take the place of the late Girish Karnad, who portrayed Shenoy in 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and 'Ek Tha Tiger'.

For the third installment of the 'Tiger' franchise, Maneesh Sharma will take over as director. Emraan Hashmi will reportedly play the movie's antagonist. Ridhi Dogra is also going to play a crucial part in the film, according to reports. Shah Rukh Khan will also make a cameo appearance as 'Pathaan' in the movie. 'Tiger 3' was slated to be released on Eid in 2023.

Later on, though, it was postponed. Then, Salman Khan tweeted the revised release date. "Tiger has a new date... Diwali 2023 it is! Celebrate #Tiger3 with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. #katrinakaif #ManeeshSharma," the tweet read.

Returning to 'Salaam Venky', the film directed by Revathy also has Vishal Jethwa, Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, and others in significant parts. The movie will hit theatres on December 9, 2022.
