Saif Ali Khan To Play Villain In Jr NTR And Janhvi Kapoor's NTR 30: Reports

Saif Ali Khan is also said to be involved in NTR30, however, the production team has not confirmed this.

New Delhi: Kortala Siva is set to direct Jr NTR in his upcoming 30th film, working title NTR30. Makers already announced Janhvi Kapoor’s appearance in the movie. Saif Ali Khan is also said to be involved, however, the production team has not confirmed this. A release date of April 2024 has been set for the film. Production on the film has begun after the Muharat in late March. 

Saif Ali Khan has reportedly been cast in NTR 30, and he will begin filming in the film's third schedule. The actor, who won widespread acclaim for his villainous turn in ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, will reprise his role as an evil nemesis here.

According to reports, NTR 30 would have a massive budget and be made available in a number of languages. The film's main character, played by Jr NTR, will play a double role.

The narrative of NTR 30, directed by Koratala Siva, is said to centre on the existence of a remote fishing hamlet and how a prominent guy from the community saves them from dacoits and mafia.

Earlier, ETimes gave details of Janhvi’s role in the film. “In Kortala Siva’s film Jahnvi has a lot to do. It’s not just a decorative role. The producers were very keen to sign her. They approached Janhvi through her father producer Boney Kapoor who wanted to know what was being offered before considering it. Only after knowing Jahnvi’s role did Boney say yes on Janhvi’s behalf,” ETimes quoted its source as saying.

Due to Jr NTR's widespread popularity and the participation of actors from the Hindi cinema industry, the film is expected to have a blazing opening weekend.

The film is produced by Hari Krishna K of NTR Arts and Sudhakar Mikkilineni of Yuvasudha Arts and will be released on 5th April 2024.
