New Delhi: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are one of the most loved couples we have in tinsel town. The two lovebirds tied the knot on November 14 and 15 in Italy’s Lake Como last year in the presence of their close friends and family members. DeepVeer have starred in several films together like ‘Ramleela’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmaavat’. Speculations were rife that Deepika will play Ranveer’s on-screen wife in Kapil Dev’s biopic ‘83’. However, it was said that the ‘Tamasha’ actress chose to decline the project.

Considering the sizzling chemistry between Ranveer and Deepika, their fans are eagerly waiting to see them together once again on the silver screen. Although, they will have to wait for some time to see them in a film, the couple has signed their first project after wedding. Yes, you read that right. Deepika and Ranveer will feature together in a new advertisement for an electronics brand-Lloyd. The couple will replace Amitabh Bachchan, who was previously associated with the brand. Interestingly, this will be DeepVeer’s first project together after their dreamy wedding last year. This is definitely a good news for the fans for the Bollywood’s hot couple. Shashi Arora, CEO, Lloyd Consumer Products, said in a statement, “Both Ranveer and Deepika form a power couple and bring a lot of youthfulness around the brand. We want to signal a change and status quo around Lloyd and that is why we tied up with this couple." The film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Talking about Ranveer, the actor is currently on a career high post the back-to-back success of ‘Simmba’ and ‘Gully Boy’. The power-packed performer also has ‘Takht’ and ‘83’ in his kitty. Deepika and Ranveer recently returned back from London where the ‘Piku’ actress unveiled her wax statue at Madame Tussauds museum.
