'Pati Patni Aur Woh' Box Office Report Day 1: Film MINTS Rs 9.10 Cr; EMERGES As Kartik Aaryan's BIGGEST Opener

'Pati Patni Aur Woh' has raked in big moolah on its first day at the box office.

New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday starrer ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ has started on a flying note at the box office. The romantic comedy, which released on December 6, has set the cash registers jingling on its first day. The film, which has been directed by Mudassar Aziz, has collected Rs 9.10 crore on the opening day. The movie despite getting mixed reviews from the critics has managed to create ripples. Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the first day box office collection of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ on Twitter. He mentioned that the film has done quite well despite clashing with Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Panipat’. “#PatiPatniAurWoh is excellent on Day 1... This, despite competing with another biggie [#Panipat], which resulted in screens/shows getting divided... Expect solid growth on Day 2 and 3... Emerges #KartikAaryan’s biggest opener... 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' has emerged as Kartik Aaryan's biggest opener of his career. His last release 'Luka Chuppi' co-starring Kriti Sanon had collected Rs 8.01 crore on its opening day. 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' is the remake of the 1978 film of same name, which starer Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and  Ranjeeta Kaur in lead roles. The new movie is also based on the concept of infidelity but the makers have introduced some changes in its storyline. 'Pati Patni Aur Woh co-starring Aparshakti Khurana is expected to rake in big moolah on its second and third day. Watch this space for more updates!
