New Gender Drama Becoming A Pandemic: Kangana Ranaut Tweets Against 'Westernisation', Fans Call Her A 'Hypocrite'

Kangana Ranaut has urged people to "stop the westernisation of our civilisation."

New Delhi: Actor Kangana Ranaut has urged people to "stop the westernisation of our civilisation." On Thursday, Kangana shared a video of a University of Kentucky alumnus and swimmer named Riley Gaines slamming the NCAA and transgender swimmer Lia Thomas on Twitter.

Riley talked on how the female swimmers had to share their locker area with Lia and how the NCAA discriminated against them.

Reacting to the video, Kangana wrote on Twitter, "We must stop westernisation of our civilisation, it’s not just torn clothes and hip hop, it runs deeper. In the west every third person is on psychiatric medication, they sabotaged family system, in the name of feminism their women struggling to raise children without any (1/2)."

"Family/financial support, women don’t want to have children anymore n this new gender drama is becoming a pandemic there. That society is on the verge of collapse, we don’t need to imitate those who meet parents for weekend dinners and make them pay for half the bill. Disgusting," she added.

Although some internet users agreed with the actor's opinions, others called her a 'hypocrite'.

Here is how Twitter users reacted:

Kangana Ranaut is working on a number of projects, including 'Chandramukhi 2' helmed by P Vasu. It is the sequel of the hugely popular Tamil horror comedy film 'Chandramukhi', in which Rajinikanth and Jyothika appeared as the leads.
