Karan Johar Celebrates 22 Years Of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’; Kajol Shares Iconic Cartooned Moments With Shah Rukh Khan

New Delhi: The 1998 Bollywood film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji marked Karan Johar’s debut as a director. The film went on to become the biggest hit of the year and has also received numerous accolades including the National Film Award for ‘Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment’. Today, as ‘KKHH’ marks 22 years of its release, Karan Johar took to his social media and shared a special video. The video ended with the text ‘A story that taught every beating heart…Ki Pyaar Dosti Hai. 22 Years Of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. While sharing the video, the filmmaker wrote, “#22yearsofKKHH.....memories of a lifetime ...eternally grateful for all the love”
Kajol marked the special occasion as she went back in time and shared three iconic cartooned moments and dialogues from the movie. The short videos is sure to make you feel nostalgic and take a trip down the memory lane. While sharing the videos, the ‘Devi’ actress wrote, “All cartooned out 22 odd years later #Rahul #Anjali #22YearsOfAnjali #KKHHmemories” The first video is based on Anjali’s heartbreak when she finds out Rahul is in live with Tina. The dialogue reads ‘Mera pehla pyaar adhura reh gaya Rifat bi’.
The second video is the iconic scene from the movie ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ where Anjali tells Rahul ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Rahul, Tum Nahi Samjhoge’.
And the third dialogue is the famous ‘cheater’ dialogue from the movie. This iconic dialogue has had millions of versions created on Dubsmash, TikTok and others. The dialogue reads ‘Rahul is a cheater, he is a cheater, CHEATER’
The remake of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' will be a computer-animated Bollywood directed film 'Koochie Koochie Hota Hai' which will have an anthropomorphic cast of farm animals.
