Raj Kundra was arrested for allegedly making pornographic content and publishing the same through mobile apps.

Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram story to react to the news of arrest of Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra for his alleged involvement in the production of pornographic material. The ‘Panga’ actress said that she will ‘expose Bollywood’ in her upcoming project ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’.  

Kangana Reacts To Raj Kundra's Arrest

Ranaut said that the creative industry needs a ‘strong value system and conscience’. She is foraying into the OTT space with ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a lead role.

"This is why I call movie industry a gutter, all that glitters is not gold, I am going to expose under belly of Bollywood in my upcoming production called Tiku weds Sheru. We need strong value system and conscience in the creative industry and ofcourse a whip,” Kangana wrote.

Mumbai Court Sends Raj Kundra To Police Custody 

A magistrate court on Tuesday (July 20) sent the businessman to police custody till July 23 for allegedly producing and distributing pornographic content through mobile apps. The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police arrested Kundra in connection with the case on Monday (July 19). 

Joint Commissioner of Police, Mumbai, Milind Bharambe, while addressing a press conference, said that the officials also arrested producer Umesh Kamat, who handled the India operations of Kundra. He informed that the police didn't find any evidence against Shilpa Shetty.

The police officials have seized Raj Kundra’s mobile phones as part of their investigation in the matter.  

Kangana Ranaut’s Upcoming Films 

The National Award-winning actress will be next seen in ‘Thalaivi’, which is based on the life of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. The trailer of the film, which was unveiled on Kangana’s birthday, received a good response from the audience. 

Ranaut also has ‘Dhaakad’, ‘Tejas’ and ‘Manikarnika Returns’ in her kitty. She is currently busy shooting for her spy thriller ‘Dhaakad’ in Budapest. 

The 'Queen' star is producing 'Tiku Weds Sheru' under the banner of Manikarnika Films.
